Angel was beaten, stabbed, burned and possibly sexual assaulted two weeks ago while being baby-sat at her home in a county island in east Mesa, authorities said. Bruises covered the body of the little girl who turned 3 in January.

The baby-sitter, Christopher Jason Langin, 30, faces a first-degree murder charge. Angel's father, Michael Plummer, told authorities he left the girl with Langin, a close friend, in a trailer near the family's home.
